CERPD, First Business Approval on Cookstove Project

Since March 2019, CERPD implemented cookstove project within 5 countries in Africa.

The project is designed to reduce greenhouse gas emissions through distributing cookstoves

to African households and was approved from the Korean Government in January 2020.

The traditional cooking method in Africa causes waste of firewood and deforestation due to low efficiency,

and the smoke and soot during the cooking process can cause severe health problem to women and children.

CERPD has been improving the quality of life to African families by distributing stoves and reducing emissions.
